Bring joy to orphans.

It’s Christmas time. It’s that time of the year to bring joy and hopes to those who are less fortunate. Many children around the world live in orphanages who don’t have the luxury and comfort of having a family or home to spend their Christmas. They have to rely on people like us to show them compassion and generosity to bring food and other necessities. We can do so this year by donating both money and toys to cheer them up.

The orphanage is always looking for monetary, food, and specifically this time of the year, toy donations. If you are donating toys, please make sure the value is $10 and up for each, make a note each toy is for boy/girl, and wrap them up before shipping. If you are buying food, please buy them in cans, glass, or plastic containers that can last longer. They will also need to arrive before the 25th of this month at the address of the organizer. (Address will be provided when requested.) If you can show receipts of your purchase for either toys or food, and provide proof of shipment, CS will award volunteer hours accordingly. Each toy purchased will be awarded one hour of volunteer work for your time spent purchasing and wrapping. Every $50 spent on food will be awarded three hours spent purchasing and packaging. You could also donate money to them in the increment of $20 or $50. Money donated is tax-deductible.
