Compassionate scholars is connecting US high school students with fellow high school students from around the world through its “Cyber Pal” program. The purpose of this program is to foster a global perspective for our member students to better prepare them for the future of countries without borders. Through online exchanges of different cultures, perspectives and languages, we aspire all participating students from around the world to come together to become contributing world citizens. Partnering with Hengshui Upper Secondary school, the top number 1 high school in China, we commenced the first session on October 23 with great success. Since then, we have held two sessions every week with increased participation of students from both high schools.
With topics ranging from academics, culinary, movies to love life, the participants enjoyed great fun while also learned tremendous insight of other cultures. We are currently in negotiations to introduce the program with several high schools in different countries to expand the cultural exposure.
